Tucked onto a small street in Burbank off the 5 freeway, surrounded by production studios and furniture stores is a slice of vintage automotive royalty including Old Crow Speed Shop, Hollywood Hot Rods and Delmo’s Speed & Kustom. From vintage hot rods and motorcycles, to high end one off-builds and patina’d trucks, the series of shops have become an epicenter for anyone with a love of classic cars and a damn good time. This year, Bobby Green at Old Crow Speed Shop opened up his doors to entertain those coming into town for the show and acted as a celebration for the Race of Gentlemen of which Bobby is also a promotor of. Inside and outside were plenty of hot rods, vintage goods and racing artifacts. On top of the hot rod ambience, tacos and cocktails from Old Smokey Moonshine were served.
Down the street, Del Uschenko used the evening to show off his expanded shop space allowing for more crafted classic trucks featuring those smooth wheels, perfect patina and brand new running gear to come out of the door. As the sun went down the street itself was packed with classic cars and trucks coming to check things out before heading to GNRS the next day.
